BIOGRAPHY.

Determined, passionate, and versatile,

is how one could describe Emma Busse. Emma has been performing for more than fifteen years, and through this time she has garnered a significant amount of training and experience. She graduated with a diploma in Musical Theater at the American Music and Dramatic Academy in May of 2022. Before her enrollment into AMDA, Emma worked on many Musical productions and sang in various concert performances throughout her time at Notre Dame Secondary. She has also taken classes under Peter Jorgensen, and has worked with award-winning choreographer Julie Tomaino.

She most recently performed with Playlist Productions on CCL’s Carnival Breeze, singing a wide range of music. Most notably, Emma participated in ABC Network’s most prevalent singing competition show “American Idol”, where she performed and competed in five rounds, making it to the Top 26 Semi Finals.

Ever since she was eight years old and saw Wicked for the first time in her hometown, Emma knew that there was something very special about musical theater, and that she just needed to be a part of it. From that moment on, she started to sing, dance, and act her way through life and never looked back. Of course she has other passions: like sewing, and playing the occasional badminton match, but nothing else came close to her love for the arts.
